It’s made without eggs or dairy, starting with a combination of dairy free buttermilk and yoghurt for that incredibly tender crumb. Sweetened with brown sugar its got a gorgeous caramel flavour and deep rich colour. Inbetween each layer is my 3 ingredient caramel for that gooey texture which pairs so well with the soft sponge.
