It’s almost like an almond tart meets cheesecake with a buttery almond cake base covered with a gooey almond cream which sinks into the cake as it bakes, creating a tender and moist cake packed with almond flavour.
Eggless Almond Butter Cake
We start by whisking butter into sugar before adding in almond butter for that delicious buttery nutty flavour. Yoghurt binds the ingredients together then the dry ingredients are folded in. The gooey almond cream is poured on top before being baked until golden and left to set. Finished with a dusting of icing sugar and flaked almonds the result is the gooiest almond cake that almost melts in your mouth.
