Inspired by the traditional Malva Pudding this is a sweet and moist cake straight from South Africa, it’s made with apricot jam for a beautiful golden colour and soaked in a delicious sauce for that much loved texture.

Malva Pudding
It starts with a moist cake made with buttermilk and flavoured with apricot jam, for a caramel flavour and colour. It’s paired with an indulgent creamy sauce that soaks through the sponge for a texture reminiscent of a sticky toffee pudding crossed with a Tres Leches Cake.
Traditionally served warm with ice cream or custard its the ultimate cosy dessert.
