3 layers of soft malt chocolate sponge layered with creamy malted buttercream and crunchy Maltesers finished with chocolate speckle decoration.
My recipe doesn’t require any eggs and can be made without dairy plus it’s super simple to make.
Speckled Malt Chocolate Cake
We start by making my one-bowl chocolate malt sponge with buttermilk and yoghurt for that incredibly tender crumb. Between each layer is creamy malted buttercream and crushed Maltesrs which add a wonderful texture and flavour combination. It's finished with a chocolate speckle for the perfect Easter cake
