Four layers of moist date sponge filled with gooey toffee sauce. Wrapped in toffee buttercream and finished with a toffee drip topping, this cake has everything you know and love about sticky toffee pudding.
Made with mejdool dates, the sponge is sweet and squidgey with the toffee sauce oozing into every single bite.

My recipe is made without eggs or dairy for an indulgent cake that everyone can enjoy.
The sponge easily comes together in just one bowl starting with a sweet date paste, dairy free yoghurt, sugar and oil. The dry ingredients are folded in before being baked until perfectly soft. In between each layer is a sticky toffee sauce before being wrapped in a creamy toffee buttercream to tie everything together.
